“Palestinian Perspectives on the Reconstruction of Gaza” is a joint project of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) that publishes papers on Palestinian needs and priorities for Gaza’s early recovery and reconstruction after the 2023/2024 war. The series treats Gaza as part of the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, holds that every approach must be compatible with Palestinian self-determination, and covers topics such as security arrangements, governance, the role of women, urban planning and the environment. Omar Shaban of PalThink sits on its editorial team, alongside Usama Antar, Friederike Stolleis and Konstantin Witschel of FES and Muriel Asseburg of SWP.
