Omar Shaban opens a two-day course on social accountability that PalThink for Strategic Studies ran with AMAN, the Coalition for Integrity and Accountability, for 22 young graduates in law, media and political science at PalThink’s Gaza office. He presents PalThink as an independent, non-profit institution devoted mainly to research on Palestinian affairs, describes the course as real cooperation between local institutions aimed at “strengthening young people’s role in monitoring institutions of every kind”, and calls for unconventional thinking and constructive, “scientific” criticism free of personal and political rivalries.
