Omar Shaban, director of PalThink for Strategic Studies, opens a PalThink lecture in Gaza for some twenty young people from universities and governorates across the Strip, part of a six-month project to strengthen democratic and civic values among youth, with writer and political analyst Mansour Abu Karim as lecturer. Shaban presents PalThink as an independent institution that works to educate young people and broaden their knowledge, and describes the project as one that “supports Palestinian youth and helps enrich the culture of democracy”, particularly around elections.
