Prospects for the Next Generation of Palestinian Leadership

Middle East Institute · 2017-03-03

The Middle East Institute in Washington hosted a panel on the succession question and the future of Palestinian politics, at a time when President Trump’s backpedalling on the US commitment to a two-state solution had spotlighted a looming leadership crisis and President Mahmoud Abbas, then 81, had no designated successor.
