Omar Shaban, Caritas’s representative in the Gaza Strip, made serious accusations against the authority of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, saying there was no reconstruction plan that had been discussed with those on the ground in Gaza. He added that the Gaza Strip was not represented at all at the international donors’ conference in Sharm el-Sheikh and that the Palestinian Authority government had only contacted a few individuals to request statistical information on the damage.
