Signs of a Severe Liquidity Crisis Loom in Gaza

Signs of a severe cash crisis are emerging in the Gaza Strip as the banking market loses financial liquidity. This is attributed to the one-way outflow of millions in dollars and shekels through the tunnels with Egypt and to Israeli traders, in addition to the halt of the Strip’s exports.
